Nissan Skyline R34 GTR

Hey everybody, this is my latest. It's done in graphite, 9x12" Canson Bristool Smooth. I actually made quite a few changes to the original, although I still used the grid method for basic proportions. I changed the rims and front bumper to turn into a nismo version, and I also replaced the headlights and alot of the reflections on the whole car. Hope you like it... any feedback is appreciated

Alex

Re: Nissan Skyline R34 GTR

wooooo wooo!!! That is awesome!

Amazing work! Looks like a photoshop filter first... so smooth... so detailed..

The only little thing I'd mention is that the bonnett vent doesn't seem to be in correct perspective regarding the grille perspective. IT's a bit twisted. The wheels are excellent. I guess this will bring you some nice cash!?

Re: Nissan Skyline R34 GTR

if i had to be picky, i would say that something with the bonnet (hood) looks off.

Re: Nissan Skyline R34 GTR

Thanks for the feedback! thanks to the people who noticed the hood. It looks waaay off and almost throws off the perspective of the whole front end.

69charger: For colored work, there is a technique called burnishing that works great with Prismacolors, and it's where you go over an area with a white colored pencil to get rid of all the graininess in the paper and it gives you really smooth results. It's also a matter of putting down plenty of layers with light pressure, and being patient. Detail is just a matter of keeping your pencils sharp.
