Get the bb det...save you headache and money

Rebuild is alittle too much...more like $350

I would go with a HKS core intercooler and nothing too big that I get boost lag...

IC piping and dp sounds about right...

JWT ECU sounds right...

should research more on BOV....HKS SSQV can't retract back to intake...research more to understand why you need to do this.

Labor seems about right also...

Apex'i AVC-R is a bad choice in my opinion...looks kewl but a pos...get a Blitz Dual SBC or a HKS EVC III or if you want manual then the Turbo XS manual controller...

These are my opinions....have you tried http://www.neishlinmotors.com/ ?? they import motors and clips...ask if they can get a bb front clip...

Talking

Thanks for all the help guys ... I think imma go with Brian and Lukes advice and give chris a call to see what he can do for me... Also had another question, someone told me that one of the reasons why the Gti-r would be a better choice is because it is a newer engine... Is this true?, i mean i know that the Gti-r was in production from 1990-94, but not so sure about the BB? Also ty423, HKS SGQV can't retract back to intake? I actually don't want it to retract back into the intake, i wanna hear the nice pssssssssstt sound hehehehe....But, can you go into more detail in what negatives the Apex'i AVC-R has? Also what size intercooler would you guys recommend? My mechanic said that he would have to take down dimensions, but i wanna kno what ruff measurements you guys have....THX

with the SR engines, you need to route some air from the BOV back into the intake tract to make the MAF happy. is the "pssst" sound really worth the loss of power?

Thanx for the input Aznvirus, but ofcourse i am planning to tune the engine correctly!!! I'm not planning to just throw on the BOV and expect everything to be cool, "and have a cool pssst sound!!!" Gotta do everything by the book, and i'm planning to do just that, iv'e actually pro-longed my project to get the correct information and specs that I need from whom ever I can talk to about the subject and read whatever I can, after i finish everything I'm planning to post info on how everything was done and what hardships i go through to complete the project, i'll keep everyone posted in the future....And i'll let everyone know how i got the cool pssst sound safely!!! lol

PEACE
