HI....I've been looking around and I found these "specials".....I wanna get the best parts for the less money (like most of us ).....are these specials or no?......any other good website I can look into? I wouldn't mind used parts either.........................What is a flange?....do I need it for my 2g??? (2nd webpage)..................would you get a manual boost controller or a electronic boost controller???.....what is the biggest difference and is it hard to install it?......thanks

A boost controller you turn a knob to change the boost, and a electric controller is well electric and some of them have duel stage(2 settings).
For a gen1 BOV I would suggest looking at DSMtrader.com.

Re: are these the best price/performance parts I can get???

You need to learn a lot more about what you're buying. You have yet to ask a question that hasn't been answered already, so start searching. Have you tried DSMtuners search too?

If someone answers your questions 1 by 1, you are lucky. If you don't know what a flange is, you might consider learning basic automotive stuff too. It's a metal piece that is used to connect two things.

No, I don't think the parts you picked are the cheapest and best for you. Once again, search. There are several lists on this forum alone of what brands for the first mods are good ones.

yeah, Ive done the dump tube hack and the catch can, really simple, its all over the net dude, do some research. And forget an electronic MBC save your money for something else man, get a joe P MBC or a Hallman for use with your T-25, BEST bang for the buck.

As for the 1g BOV for $97, that is way too high. I got mine with the flange for $47 off of ebay.

check these pages out if you dont know everything there is to know about your car...they have lots of links for other pages as well. Youll also get a upgrade guide if you are not aware what to do first. But like Wagon said do a search and if you have any questions that havent been answered let us know.
