Aside from the '04 leftovers...
Custom New Beetle
Lambo Diablo Roadster
300ZX Vert.
There are a few in the pile that are calling louder than most...
Tamiya Ferrari F50 w/S27 PE
Amt '55 Chevy PU on the Wagonrod chassis
Revell classis Beetle (doors are already cut out)
Revell New Mini Cooper S version! w/MCG PE
I'm really leaning toward doing something simple though. A box stock build of a curbside kit maybe.
Maybe...
I've never been much on resolutions.

Re: What are your projects for 2005?

Well I know for sure that I am going to build a Mitsubishi 3000GT(GTO) for a friend of mine. After that I might build my supra and some other car that I have laying around.

Re: What are your projects for 2005?

hmm my plan for this year is to finally get a chance to work on some models...its been a few years and i've been buying them up and brainstorming like crazy. The main ones i'd like to finish are my tamiya skyline(paint the body) the fujimi initial d sileighty(paint the body and some small body work), build a replica of my car whenever it gets finished using the fujimi new sileighty(has aero bumper, and kouki side skirts molded in already) build my pro touring aoshima intercepter, finish one of my 32 fords, and get started on my ala kart track roadster idea...and maybe a few others..i keep seeing more stuff I wanna build..lol

For 2005, I think it would be swell if I could get more than two models finished ('04 was a slow year...). I think a reasonable goal is to build my Porsche Carrera GT, Ferrari F40/F50/Enzo, and maybe a muscle car or two.

Maybe, if I have some time in college, (that's right, I'm going off to college next year. ) I'll build a few more Tuners

An un-reasonable goal would be to build a replica of my 1:1 Miata, and a tribute/replica of my long-lost DeLorean...

But let's not get carried away.

I have a few models to do.

One is a R32 skyline which will be pretty much stock besides maybe a FMIC and or such. Then a 55 chevy nomad which will be all reworked. Wait for a thread later this month or the start of next month. Might even finish my wide body shelby if i ever get around to it.

Also starting to come back to here. Its the winter.

Re: What are your projects for 2005?

1. Finish my Escalade, I'm still mad excited over that.
2. Finish my 787B. Slow, all the detail work hurts my brain!
3. The ski trip WRX The decals are finally coming!
4. FW24 with SMS superdetail kit. That's pretty intimidating.
5. 1:12 NSX. Want to talk about intimidating?
6-53,423. All the other stuff that catches my eye.

Re: Re: What are your projects for 2005?

Finish my curren't Honda Civic Hatchback (EG6) and my Honda Integra Type R (DC2)

for 2005:
Fujimi Mugen Honda Integra Type R
Fujimi Spoon Honda Integra Type R (Race Interior)
Fujimi Honda Integra Type R
Hasegawa Civic Ferio (just started)

And i might add 2 more Honda Civic EG6's to that list and a Civic EK4 SIRII; that is still being questioned.

Next year, I'll gradually start building up skills in scratchbuilding things for cars. I want to build a Revell Trabant 601 (small car from eastern germany, the former DDR) with full engine, interior and trunk detail.

As I stare at the pile of unbuilt kits....

I'm going to finish both the Cobra and the Lightning next semester. That might not be a realistic goal, considering my class list reads:
Intro to Engineering Experimentation
Mechanics of Materials
Thermodynamics (one of the hardest engr classes ever, so I hear)
Principles of Electrical Engineering (Circuit Theory basically)
Engineering Analysis for Mechanical Engineers

I probably won't get anything done next summer, I hope to get my job back at the machine shop which means a) 45 hour weeks and b) shakey, exhausted hands

But, without being realistic, I'd like to build:
Revell 2002 SS Camaro in Sunset Orange Metallic
AMT 1998 Corvette Convertible in 50th Anniv. Red (gotta find a kit first)
Revell Saleen Convertible in Victory Blue
Shelby GT350 and GT500

Well, my two carry-overs from 04, a 98 Vette Roadster and finishing an old S2000. Otw, my roommate wants a replica of his old Beetle, and then i'll attack my pile of unbuilts--make an attempt at improving the Fujimi NSX, have at my Tamiya F50, Italeri (!) Diablo, Tamiya Sauber C9, and maybe an SAS S2000 if i'm lucky.
