Ohh, here you are!
It sure does look very nice! Now that I've seen yours more attentively, I guess I don't stand a chance in our "private" AFMOTY

Regards,
Pedro.

Gorgeous model!

Ol' dude can pass me the keys after he's done riding. We'll return with the tires properly scuffed, the fairing cleaned of all the bugs and road grime, and a full tank of 93 octane. I'll have to have it for at least 12 hours, to get me to the "Tail of the Dragon" and back...the twistiest most challenging road in the eastern US (Hwy 129 north of Deal's Gap NC-318 curves in 11 miles).

Re: Finshed: Taira Racing Yamaha R1

great bike you have there. However i believe that was street r1 with taira decals...because taira racing r1 comes with a few different parts for the bike.

I think the Tamiya Taira R1 comes with both the Taira and stock R1 options like rear fender and exhaust, not sure if theres more, those are just off the top of my head.

Sweet bike. So clean.

Re: Finshed: Taira Racing Yamaha R1

Nice to see this one up again Thanks for the complements guys. I canceled the participating in the contest as I was afraid something would break while taking it with me to the contest. Besides that, I'm already going to particpate in the AFMOTY anyway. Pedro we'll see who's got the best bike. I've checked out yours. Yours looks very clean as well. I think we better might wait for the result before we start to point out eachother as the winner

2 ZZMX-5:
You guys may take it for a ride, but ain't taking it to the US You better come over here and pick it up :P

2 bibendumz:
Jeff is right. The Taira kit contains both stock and racing parts. The racingparts consist out of a different exhaust (which isn't used), different mudguard (which is used), a different "chain/gear" part (which is used) and a set of Taira racing decals (which are used). There are no stock R1 decals included btw.
