Like I said on Messenger, they are some pretty impressive numbers.

The torque figure is very impressive, although your engine seems to have trouble at high revs (hence max power is only at 6050rpm) which is going to ultimately limit the bhp you get (since bhp=torque*rpm/5250).

Once you get the car properly mapped and the Hotshot header installed, hopefully that will sort out your top end breathing problems and you should be outputting some impressive figures indeed. I reckon that you should be able to make power for another 300-400rpm at least.

And yes Neil, you have a faster SRi than me, OK? :o

And of course, happy birthday, and I'm sure you'll enjoy your "present" tonight

here is the dyno sheet, the P@wheels figure seems a bit low but most of the big power cars at the dyno meet did the same for some reason!

We had a Primera 2.0 from 97' that made the same with the torque graph around 4200 rpm.

We found out that it was because of a worn chain drive and chain "controller" (don't know the English word*LOL*) - After we changed the parts the torque line was all flat out!

It's the engine they put in the lower versions of the Primera like the GX,SRi etc it actaully has 128 hp (130 ps) and the P11 GT has 148 hp (150 ps). Its basically the same as the GT but with more restrictive exahust etc to restrict power.

TeamNissan the reason it stops at 6200 is casue thats when the power drops off so they dont bother reving it any further. When i get the hsh on ill get it dynod again but this time get them to redline it to 7100.

What ya talking about the flat spot in the torque? Kevins Primera GT had the same flat spot as me the only way to sort that is a 'uni-chip' which i will be fitting as soon as I can.

I think there is a possibility your car may have the 128 hp engine?

What makes you think that? How can you determine the diference between the 2 engines? Do you have any pic of your engine?

Damn you have a LOT of mods there Neil!

Yep the flat spot on the torque!! We found out, that because it was worn the timing was a little off, so we changed the chain "things" I wrote about before and the graph was continous without the flat spot!
