I'm not calling BS...i killed a 5.0L Mustang in the car i'm driving now! The dumbass couldn't drive at all.

Anyways, i just thought it was unlikely that an M3 would take Ferrari. It's possible, and i won't say it didn't happen as i can't judge that.

Sounds to me from what is being said by Mike (M3) that the Ferrari was probably an older one, and since the drivers were young, i have a feeling that they couldn't drive and were in the less powerfull version of the car.

Since i've decided that this is the case, i say 'Good Job, Nice Kill!'

never drove a ford taurus but i know it couldn't beat a srt-4.

though you may not be speaking about me, i simply said its very odd that a m3 beat a 512tr, but like the guy said it could have been an older one, or tired engine or they sucked at driving the car(as redneck stated it seems not to be so easy) so i'm not saying its bs but i'm not saying its true either, who knows. regardless mikem3 must of been fun feeling the Zoom next to a ferrari while inside of a m3

Re: M3 vs testarossa

Meh, I'm borderline on this, but I'm not calling BS simply because if the guys were younger I doubt they could REALLY drive the Ferrari. Either way sounds like you had fun.

Re: M3 vs testarossa

do you know the condition of the f car though?
honestly?
it's very possible that ANY driver could have beat the car if it were tired...
keep that in mind.

I think he was talking to Fully Sick.

I brought up the fact that a Testerossa would have been built in the 80's (I believe they were not in production in the 90's), therefore it could have been a tired car.

And why is it so hard to believe that it lost to a car that can push 13's in the 1/4 mile? I almost lost to one and I'm pushing probably around 330 hp with 2,800 lbs of weight.

Re: M3 vs testarossa

yeah, there are so many unknowns...

I'll just take Mike's word for it. Theguy driving probably didnt know how to shift or maybe the car was screwed up in some way that it loses power, or maybe he wanted to lose, god knows...

Pretty cool thing to happen though, most of the people in ferrari's that drive by, that I've seen. Go slow as hell and just show off.

Re: M3 vs testarossa

i was talking specifically to neon_209 in that post...

it's like anything else.
you don't know the conditions, it's not a perfect race track they're on, etc.

Re: M3 vs testarossa

my point is:

NO ONE HERE, NOT EVEN MIKE(M3) KNOWS THE CONDITION OF THE CAR.

so it is VERY feasible that the m3 could have beat the car, not just the driver.

geezus.

take it to heart why don't ya...
