Re: Black Widow Special Edition CRX!

I have seen those wheels on ebay but I think they are too big. I have a couple sets of aoshima 19s and they barely fit under the wheel arches. Fujimi 18s fit pretty good. Anything in this size that looks similar. I thought about the aoshima koenig imp wheels but I'm not sure.

I'm not really sure I like the front on the real car either. Do you think it would look better if I left the front part of the hood the way it is or make it extended like the real car?

IMO it would look better with the stock hood, the grounddesign one make it look too fat.

but build it the way you want !

Re: Black Widow Special Edition CRX!

http://www.bodykits.com/ has pictures of this car everywhere... not sure if any of them are that good though.

EDIT- I like the custom hood. Modifiers put out a crx with this bodykit, but no hood or fenders and it just looked... square. I'd go with the custom hood.

Re: Black Widow Special Edition CRX!

Any updates? I'm interested in this project, I came close to trying to do this with a crx Modifier.

EDIT: eh, while I'm at it....

Re: Black Widow Special Edition CRX!

My progress has been a little slow. I hope to have some more work done in the next day or so.

Ok, so it took a few days, but I finally got some progress. I narrowed the "outriggers to what I think is a good size. I took some square styrene tube and began to form the shape of the widebody around the door area. I also added some styrene in the center of the hood and some putty to flatten it out. My plan is to create a hood that looks similar to the real car but I will change it so it doesn't look so square. I also began work on the spoiler.

Also this will be my first time working with epoxy putty. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
