you guys are gay....keep up on the cars that honda has in other countries....yes the honda si-r its a type r engine in the new civic chassis and it puts out a bit more than 160....so check your fin specs...and no i dont believe that rice amkes the car go faster.....i dont got a wing or neon.....but i do know how to build a sohc 1.6 honda engine with 487 whp....so until you can do better go screw yourselves.......pushaw im me if your gonna talk crap about my car too...i dont take that too well

yes it does, instead of 5-10 psi , i run on 15psi and spikes up to 20psi with the p-chip

I'd say go with the Srt4. Not because it faster, but because it doesn't need alot non-rice mods. I would go with an evo if I could afford it

i would go with r32 if i had enought for evo, then drop a hpa twin turbo stage 2 or 3 whopping 550-900hp, and 0-60 under 3s leaving everything in the dust even the big dogs like enzo.

the civic si-r is only available in Japan, and it is still slower than a SRT-4. On Car and Driver television they took a stock Si put 40,000 in it and it only ran 6.1. Granted they spent some of that on a body kit and other stuff but still

LOL...I dunno what it is about civic's but sooo many ppl love them...guess what...THEY SUCK...they are slow and MOST of them are ugly or plain at best...all my friends lose their minds over a V-Tec engine....its just a type of engine..it doesnt fly or anything!!!..HP is HP...SRT-4 230HP....SIR way less..nuff said

well I have an MR2 and an SRT-4. I love both but the srt-4 is just a freakin kick in the pants. breathtaking acceleration from a strong engine that WILL NOT break. what other car gives you forged internals and a crank that can withstand 1000hp stock? They threw this car together right.

I've always been an import lover. I was scared of domestic reliability, but so far the dodge has proved me wrong. The other two cars you listed are also good cars, but bang for the buck you wont beat the SRT-4. Good luck with whatever you choose though!

Oh yea, and you can find some good info about them over at www.srtforums.com there's some pretty knowledgeable guys over there.

probably gonna rag on the stupidity of this question...but does the neon still have the 2.2? I remember my parents old van had that engine and it is bulletproof....and my dads omni....god I love that engine...

nah its got the PT 2.4L block in it. Same block they use for their motorsports.

unless you're talkin about the regular neons. this was an srt-4 discussion.
