nice car! I've always loved the R32 style, its defintely my favorite looking nissan

I've seen two in person, one a red GT-S at Moroso Dragstip and a grey GTR at Nopi Nats. They look badass in person hehe. I think the GT-S is a potent car, so what if its not AWD, there are many nissans that are extremely nice and "just" rwd. Plus it still has a RB and a halfway decent chassis.

No shit man. I hate all those damn commercials.

I'm thinking of buying a longblock KA from www.importperformanceparts.net or rebuilding one. It is only like 1800 for a new engine without shipping. I'm not sure but i know that replacement parts for KA's are a lot cheaper than SR parts plus the displacement is higher. That is always a plus.

It will do excellent with boost if you rebuild it, as it was overbuilt in the first place. If you have a dual cam (91+), you can use an exhaust cam from any KA24DE and replace the intake cam for another 20 or so horses. You can realize even more power from that ludicrously cheap mod if you turbo it or even I/H/E.
really? i never knew that about the cams, shoulda told me that when i had my KA

r u sure? 20 more horses??

thanks! any tricks on the ca18?

Yes. Does that really work? And are there any valve clearance issues? Thx.

91-94 KA: Intake: 240 degrees, Exhaust: 248 degrees
95+ KA: Intake and Exhaust: 232 degrees

Depending on which year KA you have, you will gain different amounts of power. If you take two exhaust cams from a 91-94 KA and replace the ones in a 95, you will see at least 20 horses. It's a big difference. Search NICO forums for detailed install info, but it's just like putting stock ones back in, because...well they are technically stock cams.

240faq has more info.
