That looks nice, I've too this car but with the Veilside rear bumper (I don't like the front bumper...). Can't wait to see your finished car.

thought chris from SAS planned to make this conversion kit eventually I hope he does!!
last time i spoke 2 chris the s15 kit was on the back burner.

on the subject of copying dont you think its a good way for the beginner 2 learn skills ??? then develop these skills into there own ideas. esp when its as simple as a lip on the bottom of a very boring bumper.

i dare not go 2 my local halfords the checkout girl is stalking me

hmmm from the local girls that work in my halfords i can understand! hahaha.

i do think its good for people to learn from others ideas but more so that they can adapt them into their own vision. or even expand them a little.
at least the guy gave me credit in his post about the candy paint tho.

Re: Nissan Silvia S15 with Body Mods

Well, this is going to be one of the loads of fantastic cars Hiro has built. (my personal favourite being the R32 engine'd black R34...)

I have to say that the Sylvia has grew on me since I first saw one, coincidently here in AF...In Portugal there aren't any Sylvias, Skylines, 350Zs, FTOs, Eclipses (well, just 1), FD36 RX7s, etc, etc, etc...I mean, there are only those idious (sp?) and riced up Opel Corsas and Hyundai Accent and so...!! WTF?!
The only "machines" we see around here are Evo 5, 6 and 7s and many, many Imprezas. (Even the Police has several "undercover" Imprezas..!!)
Oh, yeah, one of my neighbours has a Viper Coupe GTS and other has a Ferrari F355...

So, and back to topic, I want to thank you, Hiro (and almost everyone else ) for sharing your beautifull work and at the same time expanding our horizons (car-wise and model-wise)

Sorry for such a long post...

Went to Halfords tonight to get the paint, but when I got there the Manager said no one was in tonight that knew how to mix custom paints to codes, I explained that after buying 15-20 in the last 6 months I could do it myself, Hum... OK then and can you show one of our team so he knows,we done have time to train them all. So I did and got a half price pot of Hyundai Cobalt Blue (Mica).
It's in the paint booth now after 3 coats, so hopefully photos tomorrow.

This is the colour on a real car

Thanks

cool colour dude. halfords staff are less than well trained, i think you just upped the national average! one guy at a new store was taking instructions over the phone while mixing my midnight purple. needless to say it came out shit!

Re: Nissan Silvia S15 with Body Mods

nice color. I could replicate that with some marron red brick color primer and tamiya mica blue over it. but your so hard into modeling you have paints custom mixed for ya.
