Good job. Like that snake skin, similar to carbon fiber. The back looks a bit high, how was the kit build overall?

Thanks for the kind remarks guys,
I dont no what you mean about rounding the front bumper, but its built completely box stock except the exhuast which i made, and the rims (forgot to mention that before) It does ride a little high, but it was lower at one point, my girlfriend brought it to her house because its her favourite and put it up on a shelf, and her nephews came over and started to play with it and well, they some how broke all of the suspension parts (the shock, brake disc parts) on all four corners so it has some from another kit, plus the rims are a whopping 17" so it might look kind of empty, overall its a typical fujimi kit, not tonne's of detail, but a decent build, and all the pieces fit together perfectly.

That looks great. I love the paint. Sorry to hear about the car getting totaled. Does it have a salvage title now?

I dont no what you mean by a salvage title but if that means is it in the parts box.. hell no, its sittin in my display cabnet, i just try not to move it anymore, for fear of all the wheels falling off It took me about 2 weeks to find all the missing parts for this kit and another at my girlfriends house...dam kids..

Well, first off I sprayed a base coat of testors silver, then I was walkin through my kitchen and spotted garlic, I dont no about you guys but around here you can buy 3 cloves of garlic in a small mesh bag, well this mesh is really stretchy, so once the silver was dried I stuck it in the mesh bag thingy, and sprayed Tamiya Metallic grey over it, dark in the front and faded out in the back, this is why there is not speckle's on the back end, then once that was someone dry (tacky) i cut the bag off of the model, and coated it in a few light coats of Tamiya Clear Red, then Clear coat.

Re: Veilside Nissan Silvia S15

ahhh, i've seen similar painting techniques w/ mesh wire but only to make carbon fiber-not w/ clear red and silver, i'll have to try that one. thanx
