Nissan Silvia S15 with Body Mods

This is the start, been working on it for 2 days while the 350GT sits in Dot 4.
Mods include : Front Bumper, Bonnet, Side Skirts.
Wheels will not be the final ones just a sets dropped under for photos.

The kit is a Fujimi Nissan Silvia S15 one, if you need to know

Thanks

Damn that is nice! What kind of styrene did you use to make the front bumper and the side of it that curves up? I am making the same body kit for my Sil80, can you give me some tips? Thanx

Firstly Charles, please don't nick my Ings logos, Next are you not making a Signal Auto Sileighty.
There is 4 sizes of styrene in there the base of the bumper is a thick piece cut and sanded to shape, the sides are smaller thinned bits cut and shaped and glued on then sanded into each other. Hard to explain, just study the photos.

Re: Nissan Silvia S15 with Body Mods

i thought chris from SAS planned to make this conversion kit eventually I hope he does!!

what do you mean don't nick my INGS logo? (dont steal it?) is this UK talk ???

I don't know what to say steve, you obviously know your talented, we all tell you all the time so no need for me to keep saying it (but I probably will ). but this IS super-impressive to me. I love that car in real-life, I made a half-arse attempt at that front end with my blue silvia w/ skyline engine. I learned a lot from that, but.... I just can't wait to see your job on this. I will be watching super closely, please update us as much as possible.
I'd really like to have seen the making of that front fascia!!

How's that REAL 350Z treatin ya?

Re: Re: Nissan Silvia S15 with Body Mods

steve....wow....yet another nissan. awesome. I hope to get that good with putty work, right now I'm working on a seriously wicked hood for the AWD teg I just started today. May be change of plans, instead of transverse mount turbo awd, maybe vertical mount turbo, rwd, but I don't know. BTW, paint, you planning on a dark or light color?

Supercool mods Steve. I guess the Top Secret R34 is still on the back burner huh? You know everytime I see those TE37s I'm going to ask about it.
