on Ami's site. I didn't see anything there which said you needed to upgrade the ECU as well.

you 100% need the ecu. yes you need to change the resistance (which is why you need a resistor box). but that only deals with the impedance the injector is running off. i'm trying my best to put this in easy to understand terms. the ecu controls the flow thru the injectors.

with DPFI the gas flows in and goes to each port (2 of them...making it dual ) as needed. the ecu isn't controling the flow. with MPFI the gas is delivered at a predetermined flow to each injector...which is ran by the ecu.

shoot, did that make sense? i tried to make sense, LOL!

im actually not going this route anymore (just buying a head im almost positive the block has to be warped my boyfriend drove this thing until it shut itself down from overheating cuz hose came loose and all water drained anyway hes not a dumbass he has no liscence and there was a cop behind him, no way he wanted the cop to stop

anyway i think what i meant was i wanted to put an si head on a dx block running it dpfi and dx ecu, and wanted to know if that would work because im just trying to get it running as cheaply as possible to sell the focker
