Ok this thread may prove my lazyness, but here it goes... I had a head light out, so I took the bright bulb from the same side and just put it in the head light position. This wasn't ment to be a permanant fix just something to keep me from getting pulled over While I get around to getting a new bulb. (btw how much will one of these cost?) The only issue I ran into was that there was an extra wire, well actually its a double wire that I just put a piece of electrical tape around and ignored... Question 1: (or two for those of you keeping count) Is this the wrong thing to do Question 3: It seems to work fine will this cause serious/permanent damage to my electrical sys. or something? I am going to avoid driving at night until I get a clear responce (and I doubt it will take long before I get told what an idiot I am) Thanks

Sorry I guess I should have mentioned I am Lazy and Broke. So I am (obviously) going to put off any non-emergency expences as long as possible, or at least until I find a steady job (kinda helps) but yes putting a regular bulb in would be the proper solution, thx for da reply tho

Re: Switching Bright and regular head lamp
No, he's going to need to get a whole new lamp. His lights are sealed enclosures with the bulb inside the lamp. It'll probably cost you anywhere from $15-$20 for a new one. Depends which brand and type you buy. I would try to help you out with your issue, but honestly I have no clue what you're talking about.
