I'd have the whole car disassembled, all sheet metal replace w/ fiberglass (for the body). Custom aluminum 455, redline @ 9k, fuel injected. Chassis strengthened, custom independant rear suspension, magnetic dampening. Complete custom interior, 10 or 12 speaker sound system, best brakes money can buy. Long story short, 10s in the 1/4, 1.1g on the skidpad, and lookin good either way

Does anyone go to the off topic forum, this was going on for the last few days, and even that one was a repost.

Hmm....with a mil, I'd have to have the ultimate in street legal performance. The Nissan Skyline R34. Amazing car OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE....quoted at ~290hp at the crank stock...read an ad about it (I think it was an issue of Turbo magazine....july or august of 03, I think)...they dynoed it stock at over 300hp AT THE WHEELS...magazine people put headers, exhaust, and....shit...I forget....I think an intake or something....they got something like another 120 hp from JUST THOSE BOLT ONS. It is in all honesty quite possibly the most underrated, unheard of (not so much anymore, damn you F&F), amazing piece of work on the road...possibly even EVER MADE. You see these old corvettes and what not that get 4 mpg and make 550 horse out of a massive V-8....WHEN WILL YOU LEARN?!? HIGH TECH...NOT HIGH DISPLACEMENT!!! Damn thing can handle well over 1000 hp on stock internals! AND IT'S AN I-6!!! One of the best powerplants along with the amazing ATTESA and S-HICAS systems make it even more amazing. And, of course, it would have everything you could think of and be properly tuned. I gurantee that it would absolutly destroy all. No question. You CAN'T argue against that....

Other choices...the Mk. 4 supra Turbo. Another AMAZING engine also capable of well over 1000 hp on stock internals. I've seen one in an issue of Turbo magazine (don't remember the month...it was in 2002 or 2003 though) that pulled 1.2g on the skid pad......AND was a daily driver. Had something like 800hp...would white smoke the tires on the freeway doing 80 in 5th gear or some shit...another amazing car. Also, my baby...the Z32 (90-96) Nissan 300ZX. I really want a Z in real life for many reasons that I'm not going to blabber on about now...you guys probably wanna kill me already.

Couple other quick questions: What the hell is a Justy (a 350hp wrx runnin an F1....ehhh....no), UNIMOG, and B-4 (reaaaaaaally not sure, but isn't that a civic engine...???)

Well he did say, "not buying a new car but just using the one you have" so.... my goal would be to break 9s . **Could be long...**

I'm thinking FWD to AWD swap, auto to manual swap, soemhow get a v8 in (lol...hey with a mil, ya never know....but if I couldn't do that just a fully rebuilt v6 with higher compression, forged internals and invincible driveline, waaay bored out and stroked with a mean supercharger (or twin turbos..but that's been done ), of course the obvious other minor mods, probably a 100 shot to boot (I might add that I am pursuing all of these except for the swaps and v8). There's the go; now for the show: HID conversion, FULL carbon fiber interior kit (in the works now), bitchin stereo (also coming), Pitroad M hood and side skirts, Veilside front bumper and Bomex rear end (I've seen it photoshopped and was drooling...OR there is a guy starting some amazing new bk ideas....I'd definanly finance him with soem of my $$$), fully custom paint job (no graphics but a several color/tone car with soem nice pearls and metalics and possibly a stripe or 2). Probably need a rollcage at this point too. Well there ya go. As you can see, I haven't given this too much thought......

yea V8 swap would be possible with the size of the compartment on a stelth. finding one thats relativly low profile would be nessicary but noy impossible.

berings cams cam shafts intake

b6t engine same as above plus id get a secquntial turbo setup

tauras engine
same as above two

but this is kind of overkill for an aspire

My thoughts exactly!! I would eat Hummers and Land Rovers for breakfast. It would be cool to swap in a built Cummins turbo-deisel, but getting the drivetrain to work, and live might be a trick.

(BTW, this is a Unimog...spanking a Dodge 4x4 dually)

If the engine was making 300 hp at the wheels, that means it would be making 361.4 hp at the crank if the car had a manual tranny, or 384.6 hp at the crank if it had an automatic. That is figuring a 17% power loss for the manual and a 22% loss for the auto. That engine did not make that much power from the factory. Also, I highly doubt any car would gain 120 hp from just those bolt ons. There would have to be something else. I think that the car might have put 300 hp to the ground after the bolt on mods. That would be a lot more realistic.

They were getting a bit more than 4 mpg, but who cares anyway when you hear the rumble of a big block? OK, maybe you do. High tech, not high displacement? How about high tech and high displacement? Check the LPE site out: http://www.lingenfelter.com/pac725ttls1y.asp. This 725 hp twin turbo corvette runs a 9.5 second 1/4 mile and gets 30 mpg (according to the video clip). Oh, and there's a two year warranty on the kit. You will deffinantly pay for it, though, at $48,995.

Ehhh...I'm just sayin what the mag printed, man. They said it was the highest hp gain from bolt on mods in the HISTORY OF THE MAGAZINE. Damn you...now I have to look for that article. Thiiiiiis'll be fun. It might be in storage down in Florida. I'll look later.

I doubt it gets 30mpg. That just doesn't make sense. Take a V8 that gets not great mileage in the beginning...then add forced induction which requires MORE fuel consumption, and get better mileage.......ehhhhhhhh no.

Ok...who CARES WHAT A CAR SOUNDS LIKE!? As long as it doesn't sound like a P.O.S. (rattles and squeeks and shit) or sound like a mosquito on speed, who cares? I prefer a car that sounds like an F1 car then a car that sounds like a damn truck. I hate mustangs and what not that rattle shit in my house when they drive through the neighborhood. Or the Camaros that sit next to me at a stop light and drown out the radio. It's like they have something to prove or something.

Name a car that has more potential then the R34. That car is an AMAZING platform. It's a supercar. It completely dominated the racing circuit when it came out. You'd probably say that Ling. Vette is better. it is a pretty cool car, but For that much money (the KIT costs as much as most cars), you could damn near buy a Lambo. I like the new vettes though. The Z06 is one domestic car that I would actually not mind owning.

Re: If you had a million dollars...

Two chicks at the same time.

Oh wait, for the car? Hmmmmmm......
I'd probably blow it all on a McLaren F1 and not be able to drive it because I couldn't afford the insurance. I'd just park it in a super-secure garage and give it a every time I walked by it. Either that, or weep.....

Dude with a million $, I'd say screw a V8. Build up a bulletproof Viper V10, supercharge or twin turbo it, and go run some serious times at the track.
