What does dsm mean?

I take that back if u take care of it ur 1gs will look awsome, but in my town theres alot of 1gs that ppl just treat as regular cars and as any car gets older its gona b in bad shape if not takin care of. The only body style i actualy hate is the 3g.

2G's are ugly and fat. You must like your cars like you like your women. I prefer mine sleek and hot ............ Like the 1G. And the 1G will kick the 2G's ass for speed any day.

Actually, this isn't quite right.

Chrysler acquired about 1/3 of Mitsubishi from the early 1970s into the 1980s. In the late 1980s, Mitsubishi and Chrysler formed Diamond-Star Motors where each of them held 50% of the new company. Chrysler sold it's DSM holdings in October 1991 to Mitsubishi. In 1994, Chrysler sold all 23.25 million shares that it held of Mitsubishi. Shortly after the "merger" between Chrysler and Daimler-Benz, DaimlerChrysler bought about 1/3 of Mitsubishi again.

I don't believe that all Talons, Eclipses, and Lasers had "DSM" badges, since Diamond-Star Motors became Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America in 1995.

Sorry to all you 1G lovers, but speed and weight aside, the 2gs are by far the best looking...especially the 97-99's...for me...the 1g's are just too, well, 80's looking
