Re: 1/8 Entex Lotus 72...

Don`t misunderstand me, i`m just replying to the link you posted, i`m not saying anything about the price you`re asking for your kit, that is your choice. I`m loose all interest in a kit once i read that it is started on. To me, and i think to many other builders, a kit how rare and expensive it might be, is completely worthless once it is started on. just my 2 cents

sorry, but i didn`t know that you are a Master Builder and, maybe, the best scratchbuilder in the world. Wow! You are sure the emperor of china. Wow! Sorry that i said i have 3 entex 1/8 scale cars at home! I was a defect of my old eyes. Sorry about that! Sorry, that you know better than i,how many parts my kits have! Sorry, that you are watching ebay auctions where entex cars where sold for a lot of money. Sorry, that all other guys here are so stupid and only see it when they sell for less money. Sorry man....excuse me....your honest emperor of china! Sorry, that you know better than i how much a new decal sheet is. I thought i have paid 49€ for it?But i must be wrong when, the emperor of china, says that it must be 130$. My fault! Here is a link, but it must be a fake because of the price of 49€??? http://www.bestbalsakits.be/tamiya/t...kitnumber=1056 Ironic mode off! I didnt wont to discredit your post! I only want to show in which price range the entex or eidei grip kit is. I know that wim in belgium wants more than 1275€ for one. If you want to pay that price......i cant help you. But if you think you will become a price like that, try it. But dont talk to me like an idiot, man! Your answers says a lot about you. There is nothing more to say about you. @Ildottore: I know Wim from two other modeling boards.I think he is not only a buisness man,of course he is one,but he is also a modeling fanatic in my eyes. He do trans kits and make decal sheets for older kits. He also gaves some goodies to some modeling users. If you didnt find some old decals and Wim read about it,he often gaves it for free! I know that his prices are sometimes between good and evil, but you didnt have to buy from him. If you want to have an rare kit,he has it. I edited my posting here, because of my agitation when i read the posting from the emperor of china. kind regards christian Last edited by Capri-Schorsch; 02-02-2012 at 10:50 AM. |

I must say even I am laughing you are very funny, witty and I don’t doubt your intelligence, eyesight and sleuthing are all in pristine condition so let it be said for all to hear, “The Emperor of China surrenders.” However, all words I’ve written about myself are true, perhaps my choice of words directed towards you and your words are all based more on a big misunderstanding. You see the items I have up for trade are all between $150.00 - $250.00, except 1, and I ask a little money, it keeps the door open for negotiation in a trade, but doesn’t mean $$ have to be involved. I told and shared the link and EBay info about the kit just to show it was valuable, rare and worth building, though started (and very little at that, just the early body assembly stuff.) So take a trade say worth 150 to 250 and add a few $$ and I’m basically asking $300.00 for this kit in Canadian $$ but I would rather trade it for something. Like think this, I have such a desire for machined steam engine kits that if someone went on the net and found one for 200 and sent me a pic and said I have one of these would you swap? I would say sure after doing my research, even knowing it was worth only 200 if I wanted it I would swap. So I think even you would agree this is a fair price for this kit? My original ad still sits as first posted and the words spoken here validate that ad, and that was I never was asking an unrealistic price for this kit nor under minding the modelers on this forum in the first place. So I hope you can agree this was clearly a misunderstanding. I will apologize if you felt I talked to you like an idiot, but I will tell you an idiot I never once thought you were. But I am what I am, I have been building from scratch and or kits everyday of my life for 50 years. Regards, Ronald |

What's going on here lads????
Surely we're all just big kids who play with plastic kits? Let's just enjoy it. I'm sure nobody meant any offence to anyone. Niggling over???? Roy. |
