i was going to purchase an sr20det for my 240sx s14 and ive done my research for the last couple of years and i know that u can buy the motor and put in ur car and up the boost to 13-14 lbs to get about 235hps, but just recently i went to importintellignce.com and they say that the motor could do 16lbs and that is good for 280hps is this true and is it reliable?? help

16psi is realllllly pushing it. I would reccomend staying stock boost because it would take much skill and experience to make 16 psi work for you. Skill and experience that you obviously don't posess, if you are asking this question in the first place. Stick to the KA and learn before you swap.

As much as I hate SCC for publishing the 240 and making it look like a typical Honda swap, my point still stands. They have professional mechanics installing that turbo and could probably run 20psi and find a way to make it work
This guy however, obviously does not have that skill or knowledge, so his point is mute.
