Infinity 130 underneath question. Please help.
Hello,
I bought a 96 infinity i30 with 89,000 miles. I took it in for an oil change and found out I had a front end oil leak. The dealer estimate to repair and cheange the belts & water pump was $1,200. So I shopped around and took it to a shop that told me $900 Now after they held my car for 17 days I finally got it back. I felt that the car was noisier than before so I looked underneath for the first time and noticed taht thjere was nothing covering the bottom of my car the belts pan and everything was exposed. I do not know if there is supposed to be something underneath like on my Celica to cover the bottom area. Please no bashing I know I was stupid for not looking before. I just need to know what the bottom is supposed to look like. If anybody out there with a 96 i30 can send me a picture of what it is supposed to look like underneath I would appreciate it. TIA |

I hope this picture comes up.
This should be a picture of what I am talking about. I believe there is supposed to be something to cover this area. If any other 96 i30 owners out there could please confirm. TIA |

I own a '96 I30 and there is supposed to be a cover there. I take it off whenever I change the oil, which I just did this morning, so I can get better access to the oil filter.
