Angry Is my BOV leeking?

I just installed a RevHard kit on my Si. The Delta gate has a 7psi spring and the adjustable screw is all the way in. I'm only getting about 5.5psi out of this thing. I know my cat is a little clogged. But my question is about the Vortech BOV that came with the kit. Is this thing supposed to be pulling air in the port when the car is ideling? If its pulling air in, is it letting air out under boost? Where's my other 2psi of boost!?

could be, do you have an intercooler? that could lower pressure maby 1psi... id check the connectors for the piping, drip a little water on them and if it bubbles then you know

its definatley not supposed to be pulling in air at idle. If it does then it needs to be adjusted. Make the tension harder asuming you have an adjustable one.

I do have the intercooler. I switched my vacum line from the compressor side of the turbo, over to the vacum line between the intake manifold and the stock fuel regulator. This way the deltagate read boost at the manifold after it went through the intercooler and all the piping. That produced a gain from about 4.5psi to 5.5psi. I really don't think its leeking at any of the pipe conections but I'll try the soapy water thing. (why didn't i think of that) So if it is the BOV, which does have the adjuster nut, what do I need to do with it? Send it off to have it looked at, or is there something I can do to it?
