If I could get MaxPower for the price of the other mags here in the U.S. I would buy it... otherwise its just plain fun. I never expect anything serious out of it, except some of those nice English boobies!

The parts look cool, but ordering them from over here is kind of pointless... the shipping on brake rotor discs would be $$$ over "the pond". Oh well

Yeah its the "European edition" that we're talkin' about... Barnes & Noble slaps a $10 price on it, calling it an "import" (like its a fine wine or something ).

I love the women in Max... They just don't make boobies that big over here in the U.S. (well, not naturally anyway). :frog:

Talking total joke

I think the guys who read max power are just too shy to buy porn, cause they can't be buying the magazine for the cars. it's kinda obvious, dorky cars and hot chicks, it's a cool magazine for dorky dudes. :silly2:
I test drove the new Lexus IS sport design and that thing rocks...nuff said.

I like mags that blend hobbies... boobs & cars are a good start. Perhaps their choice in cars is bad - I can't tell as none of the rides they feature are even sold in America

Re: No respect for MAXPower . . .

its the same shit every month ,its disapointing really ....thats why half the time they put them in those plastic bags on the shelf ,,its so you cant flick through and go "OH that looks as shit as the last one i bought"and put it back on the shelf ......... you feel oblidged to buy a copy just incase there is actually a decent car in it and you might miss it........i worked at the Max Power live show last year and to be honest the main type of people who came to look around the show were all wanabe's with their 1.1 whatevers ,with cheap alloys ,LED windscreen washers from halfords and a 6 pack of stella oh and the token girlfirend who sits in the passenger seat for regular drives to mc donalds car park.(goes to show what putting to many boobs in a car mag does).....

Re: No respect for MAXPower . . .

this mag is crap. i agree with everyone(who are against it though). lol i had the mag of the 'max power show 2005'...best DOMESTIC car: ford fiesta 1.1...bodykits sound system etx....engine: chromed out, piper backbox(the backbox was the only mod to the engine, except it was cromed out)... its not even domestic. its a european show, so european cars are domestic, not american!

they really dont get it.

also, they had a review once about chris garcia's TT. he is a real respected builder in the US....they wrote that he said something like this ' i like to thank MAX POWER for my first ever magazine feature'... i mean, comon, a august 2005 issue? chris had more than that did he? i know he won a few best of show...

anyways, lets all write what we really think about this 'car'mag to mark riccioni(hes an editor of that gay mag, he made a topic somewhere)
