1997 Chrysler/Dodge Intrepid Door Speakers

Hello all!

I have a 1997 Chrysler (in the USA it would equivilent to a Dodge) Intrepid, and I have blown a front door speaker.
I have looked around, and decided that I would like to replace the door speakers with a pair of Cerwin Vega V-Mag 502's. From the information I could gather on the internet, the mounting size for my car is 5.25".
What I do not know is how much room I have for the mounting depth.

The speakers I am planning to get have a depth of 2-3/16". Can anyone tell me if they will fit in my car?

I am planning on buying the speakers and a deck, and having someone else install it (a pro), because if I tried I would invariably start the car on fire....

Thanks for your time,

Raymond R
