not really the motor's pretty messed up. I usually can find blown motor's for around that price or less.

If the kids a good driver i say give him something he can learn from

Start with the B18C1 and aim for say 250HP to the wheels. Knowing you Hybrid that shouldn't caost to much But focus also on the torque curve, you know, get a real nice linear power distribution.

Then go to hell with the suspension, brakes, tires and maybe the transmission.

Full coil-overs(no sleeves). anti-roll bars, camber kit depending on the drop.

Build him an auto-cross monster. That way it's technically a really fast car, but not to the point where he's likely to seriously injure himself or others.

Either way pal, good luck. Not that you'll need it.
