Exclamation '04 A4 Quattro - "Oil Min"

Hello,

Just this past weekend I bought an 2004 A4 (3.0 6 cyl) with 83k on it. The engine is running great.

I was driving on the parkway today, and the yellow "Oil Min" light came on. I immediately pulled to the side of the road and checked the manual. It seems that this is an oil level warning, and not a pressure warning. Just yesterday I had checked all the fluids, and the oil was at the full mark (couldn't add more if I wanted to).

I took the key out, then restarted the engine to see if it would clear - but it didn't. I then got out, and opened the hood to double check. However, the level was still at the max. I was heading to the dealership anyway, so I just started the car again, but now the warning was gone.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Is it possible a sensor just misread?

Note that the check engine light is on, but I brought it in Sunday to have them look at it. They stated the O2 sensor was misreading, and they had to order a part. I don't believe it to be related, just stating the check engine light is on, and it may or may not be due to the oil issue.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!
