00 Lincoln LS can't turn heat or ac on or off!

I have a 2000 Lincoln ls V8 I can't turn the heater or the ac on or off. Please help!!

Please give some more information if you really want help.

Does the DATC display light up?
Please describe what happens when you press each button. Describe it per button and include what happens on the display and what happens to the airflow.

Does the blower work, can you change blower speeds?
Can you change airflow?
Can you make the display change?

Give us something to work with.

Datc lights up. I pressed every botton it does nothing like its only for decoration

Then I suppose you need to replace the DATC.

I replaced the DATC. The buttons work now but when I change fan speeds no air blows out.

If you are lucky, the blower motor is bad or you have a wiring issue between the DATC, the blower speed controller, or the blower.

If you are unlucky, the blower speed controller is bad.

The blower motor is easy to change with very little dis-assembly required. Changing the speed controller requires the dash to come out and the AC system to be discharged. I would pull the blower motor out. With it disconnected from the car, jumper +12V and ground to the blower motor power connector. If the motor runs, your problem is elsewhere. If it doesn't, then you just need to replace the blower motor. Also, note that in some cases the motor has been okay, but the plastic fan has cracked and become detached. (motor spins, but no airflow)
