Revell Shelby Cobra 427 - Completed

Last model kit of 2011 for me. I finished this one up last week. It's the Revell kit made to look like one of the bare aluminum bodied Cobra's. Painted with Krylon Dull Aluminum then rubbed out with Rub-N-Buff Silver Leaf paste to bring it to a natural metal sheen. Otherwise I added spark plug wires and various decals to give it a racer look.

Beautiful model. I used to use Rub'nBuff but it never actually dried. Did you have that problem? I do have a dehydrator now, maybe that would help.

That looks great!
I love the exhaust treatment as well.
That looks great in addition to the aluminum finish of the body.
