Alfa Romeo TZ3, 1/24 Studio 27

Hi guys,

it has been a while, ok not as much as last time but...long enogh

Sorry that there is no in progress thread, I am just to lazy lately.

So Studio 27 curbside, nice body but a bit bumpy here and there so some sanding is needed. Very badly designed head lighs so you end up with trouble when glueing head light covers. Also windows and decal window trims are not the best solution but...I didn't have enough will to change all that.

Built out of box, I even put PE seat belts...
Zero F2003 red, Glasurit clear, Alclad for metal.
Hope you like it.
Thanks for watching

Whoa! So this is some kind of prototype? I wish Alfa made more cars like this! They have very unique styling, and that's why people like them so much. For instance Brera was very cool looking car for me, they really should make more cars like these.

Beautiful build of a great car! I love this style of car - shooting brake, breadvan, whatever you want to call it. Thanks for sharing, I didn't even know they made this kit!

Absolute beauty in its purest form. Perfect execution.

It hurts me to know that this car will never be available in plastic kit.

Re: Alfa Romeo TZ3, 1/24 Studio 27

Nice build. I do like the real car too even if it has a Maserati engine. Alfa Romeo and FIAT are talking big, so I hope this kind of project will rub off on the regular production cars like they did for Alfa in the 1960's. The new Alfa only 1750 all alloy turbo engine they are working on sounds like a winner.

The Studio 27 kit is very simple but accurate looking. They are stealing from us asking $225.00+US retail!!! I wish they were in Europe as the Euro will start to crash soon. Hope it does not hurt the real FIAT Alfa projects.

Re: Alfa Romeo TZ3, 1/24 Studio 27

Thanks guys,
I agree with you Tom, they should make them like they did before. Studio 27 realy got the shape very good, even the model look very very nice in proportions, only flaw are tires, they are slicks and to to to wide.

Very nice build! Especially considering you had to start with a S27 :-)
I didn't really like the real car until i saw it at Goodwood. It is nice!

Re: Alfa Romeo TZ3, 1/24 Studio 27

Great work Sasa! Glad to see you back with a beautiful work! I was really excited when I heard S27 was plannning to make this, but TBH I felt rather disappointed when I got it. S27 didn't get the front and rear end right, and many defects on the proportions here and there. Any way it did look beautiful when finished! Congratulations buddy!
