1977 Lincoln Town Coupe history questions
I just purchased a 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe with the rare glass top like the one I had 30 years ago. I am going to try to find out the following information:
I would like to find a service that can document all of the previous owners. Does anyone have any contacts at Ford / Lincoln that could provide a copy of the original window sticker and original dealer that sold the car new. I know that finding this information on a 33 year old car won't be easy but, any and all help will be appreciated. Thanks, Jim |

Re: 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe history questions
Cool find. I know they made the Town Car with the glass roof, never seen a Town Coupe with it. The info you are looking for will definetly be a challenge to gather. Good Luck!

Re: 1977 Lincoln Town Coupe history questions
I'm the original ower of a 77' Town Coupe and I've been an NVH engineer for Ford since 1990. I'm in product developement and can tell you that getting a copy of the window sticker might be the only thing you could get. It's a long shot but I can ask around. I would more that likely need the VIN#. I don't go back to work until the 15th of November so give me some time to look into it. By the way I've been searching for a molding for my car. Got any contact for parts?
