Re: WIP: Ford Sierra RS500 Tamiya

who knows!

progress update: I bought primer, at least thats whats written on the can. It's an Arexons Clear Primer for plastics...

I didn't realize that it was clear until I tried it out I've worked with automotive grey primer before so I can see some differences.

I don't know if it is any good, the texture it has created on the plastic seems good, and it seems to dry very fast compared to grey primer. It also doesnt seem to cover small scratches that well...so I am undecided if I should just spray the parts a couple more times each and see if it covers the small imperfections.

In the mean time I also need to get some paints for the details.

Can anyone suggest some good colours for engines and exhausts?

I have this kit and will not require the decals at all. You can have them as long as you pay for all shipping charges, I'm in Ohio USA. I also have the instructions that I could scan if you are still interested.

You don't happen to not need the spoiler either?

But seriously, cool!

Can you let me know how much it will cost to post the decals to me? I'm in Italy btw

Good looking build by the way,

Re: WIP: Ford Sierra RS500 Tamiya

I wish i could find a couple more of these kits as i have a few of the Australian cars still to do, but they have become very rare which is a pain. Nice save with the old paint etc, look forward to seeing more.
