Has anyone put a 4l80 from a 454 behind a 6.5 diesel?
We did and the transmission worked great behind the 454. Behind the diesel there is only second gear and no reverse. the 454 was from a 95 K3500 and the 6.5 is a 94 K3500. Is this a programming issue? Can the dealer use a tech II and reprogram it? All help is appreciated.
