Questions about CNC milling machine

Hi everybody
I want to introduce myseflt into machining, I'm looking for design my own bikes or parts of bikes an machine it in plastic or methacrylate or machine the molds and then use resin to cast.
I don't have so much idea what I need or what I have to look for....can somebody tell me what I need? what machine could do that job? and also if someone dos the same as me with cars, could you say me what software do you use??

I do this type of work as well and I use a Sherline 2010-CNC mill with CNC Rotary table.

To command the machine, I use Mach-3 software. cheap and very easy to use and set-up.

To convert the CAD drawings into mill programs (post processing), I first used Lazycam, but as I went into more complex milling, I bought Deskproto.
