Fixing heater core on '96 Villager--should I replace broken odometer at same time?
I am having a friend who is a mechanic replace the front heater core in my '96 Villager. He is ready to kill me because it is so hard to get to! My odometer/trip mileage gauge just went out and I was wondering if I should have him replace it (or the plastic gear if I can find one) while he is working under the dash? I have the Haynes repair guide but cannot find any info on how to get to the odometer. Thanks!

Have you looked at the Service Manual thread on top of page?? Is it digital instrument cluster or analog?? You will need to remove the instrument cluster to fix odometer, does the speedometer still work. Was the heater core leaking causing you to change it??? |
