Help with my 1990 z32 na

Decided to start a new thread because I didn't see to much on here about the NA's. I am 19 and I have just gotten my Z and am in love. This has been my dream car for as far back as I can remember and I finally obtained one. As I read, read, and read I can not help it, but lose hope for my NA on improving performance. All I see i can do is intake, cat back exhaust, and and ecu upgrade (i removed that little throttle body screw). Now ppl say do a CAI or Pop Charger, but as I read and see for myself it already has a cold air intake and I heard a pop charger is only a gimmick. So i have almost no idea on how to go about the intake, exhaust, ecu, and other upgrades if there are any. I would greatly appreciate any help on this and if you could brands i could use whilst ordering the parts, thanks.
