92 s10 blazer Wont stay in parking gear
92 s10 4x4 4wd blazer, when i park and shift to parking and turn off engine, then start engine again, the car automatically idles in reverse (that means if i dont have brakes pressed it takes off)
the space between the park and reverse gear is very loose when shifting, also i parked at a store today on a very slight hill i press the emergency brake, and when i started the engine it idled in reverse again...this is starting to happen alot lately...even when i think the car is in park gear real good, it still happens i just need ideas of what to look into |

Re: 92 s10 blazer Wont stay in parking gear
sounds like neutral safety switch if it start's while in gear. you really need to get that fixed for your safety and other's.

Shift linkage and neutral safety switch need adjustment.
