After Battery Swap Car will not Start
Hey All,
My battery was weak, I needed a jump approx. 3X in the last few weeks. Weather started getting colder, so I figured time to get a new battery. Went to local store, and got one. Pulled out old battery. Disconnected neg then positive cables. Put in new battery, connected Positive then negative. Car cranks but does not turn over (fire). I think immobilizer is keeping it from starting. Bought car used about 3 years ago, came with 2 original keys, no valet key. tried both keys.tried disconnecting battery again. Need some help with this one. Immobilizer blinks when doors are unlocked. but solid on when locked. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Bob
