![]() spend few hours doing the seat belt, wasted most of the times searching the PE parts on the floor ![]() also the Ferrari decal from Hobby Design doesn't stick well, it also doesn't react with Mr Softer/Setter, so i used super glue, bad choice again after that only i realise Thin cement incredibly melt the decal and make it look like it was printed on the belt, so i might redo the belt ![]() ![]() applying the Ferrari metal transfer is ridiculously frustrating.... i tried 4 times, destroy 3 metal transfer and the "Ferrari" word doesnt adhere to the surface, the last 3 words 'ari' stick to the tranparent sheet everytime i peel it off, ends up i had to position it 1 by 1, look at my thumb you'll know how tiny it is..i realise the curve surface is the main factor it doesn't adhere well![]() ![]() but the result is fantastic! Re: Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599
beautiful work, may i ask what kind of seat belt material you used? Those transfers are tricky sometimes, i messed up one on my r32.

Re: Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599
Superb craftsmanship. Have you tried thinned white glue for fixing the decal on the seat belt?

thanks, i learn almost everything in AF! ![]() Interior is done! I did not use flocking this time, instead i use some velvet cloth, something like MFH adhesive cloth, but it was too black, so i tone it down by spraying a coat of Flat Clear and glued with double sided tape. ![]() Redo the buttons ![]() Add white wordings with flat white enamel using toothpick, and glued the vents with white glue ![]() Seat harness weren't glue, just use masking tape to hold them at the bottom of the seat ![]() Left & right door and the dashboard weren't glue, they fit tight so i just secure them with masking tape ![]() ![]() ![]() Masked and sprayed the chassis with semigloss black, then scrap off the bolt heads |

Re: Novitec Rosso Ferrari 599
Thanks guys!
![]() Finish the under chassis ![]() ![]() ![]() a bit difficult to capture, the exhaust is actually not totally black, it has a bit of metallic shine test fit the wipers, it touch the windscreen & no gap this time ![]() ![]() body not so fortunate....damnn ![]() ![]() although just a small spot, it have to be repair with caution, so i handpaint it with toothpick, the paint can't be too thick, built up the paint slowly, around 4 times to get this, about 10-15 minutes in between ![]() after 4 hours, i wetsand with 2000 sandpaper, still left a bit of dent ![]() so i repeat again, but lesser paint this time, just enough since paint will shrink went it dries ![]() hopefully tonight when i wetsand again it will look like nothing happen |

It is amazing how meticulous you can be. I would already be pretty happy with first fix you did!
