2000 Jeep Cherokee
Hi all,
Among many of my delightful issues that come with owning my 2000 Cherokee come a new issue! My rear blinkers work fine when the vehicle is in park, but, when put into gear the rear blinkers both come on when the turn signal is activated regardless of which direction. The front turn signals appear to work properly. Any ideas? |

Re: 2000 Jeep Cherokee
That's odd. The only thing putting the vehicle in gear and rear lighting would have in common is the reverse lighting circuit..........unless you have a trailor lighting harness?

I do have a trailer harness hooked up, what would cause it to use bothe blinkers?

I'm not much the electrical guru but I'd have to say there's a short between the ciruits somewhere. Of note, it is also common practice that they share the same ground.
