2000 Jeep Cherokee SE, 3-speed?

I have been looking on AutoTrader.Com for a nice Jeep Cherokee for a little while and have been finding what seem to be good deals on Jeep Cherokee SEs, but they have 3-speeds. Is this why they are cheaper than the normal versions? Has anybody seen these? Are they a lot slower? How do they drive compared to the normal ones? Please let me know if they are worth getting over the normal 4-speed automatics. By the way, I didn't see any manual 3-speeds or any SE's with manuals for that fact. They were all automatic transmissions. Thanks for your help.

And you won't. Jeeps will have either the Automatics or a 5-speed manual transmission. Unfourtionately, most late model cherokees were built with automatics and not manual transmissions

Actually you techically get a 6 speed. 3 standard ratio's with an O/D.
1st, 1st+O/D, 2nd, 2nd+O/D, 3rd, 3rd+O/D.
