Any suggestions??

Hey, I own a 98 prelude and it just so happens to be black. Not that its a bad color at all but its the fact that every freggin scratch, crack, chip and folicle of dust just so happens to show up on my car in perfect visibility. The car has a bunch of chips and scratch marks in the hood and I was wondering if I should just go ahead and but a cf hood or are there any products out there that can help the paint. There are swirls everywhere inthe paint, im guessin that a chick owned it before me and didnt wash it at all......any help would be very appreciated~
