Dumbest person in this forum is me!!!!

I feal like a complete idiot. All I want in life is to open up my own performance shop. I just can't decide on which route to take to get there. I can either go to Southern Illinois University at Carbondale and major in management so I know how to own and operate my own business. I can go to Universal Technical Institute for there auto tech program but it is not a degree program, and it costs $20,000 for the program, which is only one year. Or I can go to Triton College in River Grove Illinois and get an associates degree in auto service department management, which teaches you all the auto tech programs you need but combines them with management classes. I don't know what to do anymore. I am going crazy trying to decide. I have always wanted to go away to college, but I would prefer to study auto tech. Maybe you guys can help me out. Any comments or suggestions. Please help me out. I would really appreciate it.

Personally, I would go for the auto tech, and afterwards go for business while working in a shop so you get some experience. Then, open up your own biz.

that is definetly great advice. You have many years to fullfill your dream and the more experience you have before you do so, the much more full-filling it will be. (and defiently go to school, but that goes w/o saying)
