My Tires are Rubbing!!

I need to know what to do about my tires rubbing? I have just recently lowered my car and have gotten adujustable camber kits on and now my tires are rubbing when I turn corners. What can I do to prevent this from happening?

Thanks

Since you've got an adjustable camber kit, you can increase the camber. Might not be the best thing for your tyres.

Or change the offset of your rims.

Well it would help to let us know what size wheels, offset, tires, and suspension you are running. As well as how low you are dropped etc...

I have dropped it 2" with Neuspeed springs. My rims are 17" Enkei's sitting on I'm not sure of the tires off hand. Would upgrading the struts help reduce the rubbing or would it be better to just get springs that drop it only 1.5" to save the hassle? Thanks for your help!!

most likely offset of your rims is too low for your car, switching to 1.5" drop springs is easiest way to get rid off rubbing.

other ways to get rid off rubing are
* to change rims with higher offset = lots of money
* change camber and have tires worn prematurely = money
* modify fenders, roll and/or shave them = i don't how much that cost

Whith some rims it's possible to change the offset to a higher value, this way the rims come further in and the rubbing will stop. I don't think this costs to much around 30$/rim (atleast that's the price in Belgium).

But this isn't possible with all rims

OK, same thing happened here. What I did is bought kyb agx adjustables and Cosmoracing coilovers. No rub now with agx at 4 but when turned to 1 I get some rub even at normal ride height. The problem is the tires are slightly wider than what are I wanted and that is where the rub come in (the fender lip). If you get a wood baseball bat you can sometimes roll the lip up so the rub will stop.

yeah that happened to me too when i first got my rims on they put 215/40/18 but they're suppose to put 215/35/18 which they didn't have in stock that time so they told me u'll be fine with 215/40 so when i drove on every curb it rubbed then the second day i went back to them and they told me to roll the fenders in ...but i didn't really wanna go through that ...so i went back again the same day and i talked to some guy who works there then he said ok well put 215/35's for u so they changed em...that's my story...lol....
