I have a type s and I personally think that the sound is pretty bad. I can barely hear the bass (i think it is only 120 watts for the bass but I'm not sure). I even took it to an acura dealership to check if the subwoofer was broken and at first everyone at the dealership thought it was until they realized that the subwoofer is naturally that quiet. Other than that, the quality of sound is excellent, but it is just that it does not have enough power at least for my tastes.

I too think its kinda sucky for BOSE. My '98 Maxima's BOSE sys sounds nicer. Mu biggest beef is its too quiet. Its crisp and clear but too quiet for a sports car.
