Yep, and of course that is because it is a Japanese car right?

However, the most racist 3000GT owners are the one's who have a crimson jihad front end like this one! Just look at its eyes!

I don't particularly care for riceburner cars even though I've owned a few in the past like a 300ZX Turbo, Toyota Celica GT, and Nissan pick up truck but if I call them riceburners does that make me a racist?

Plus keep in mind I am Asian-American. Damn gooks! .....

Absolutely! Also, you must be a redneck for being such an American/GM muscle lover.

I kid of course. Though it is completely off-topic I like cars made from all around the world. However, I wanted something that could be a 12 second DD that was AWD and American companies didn't have it.

BTW Bob, you do own a rice burner...a Honda CR250R. It's not an Italian Pasta Rocket but pure rice burning glory!

Actually I do too. However, I was seriously looking at getting an Acura TL this year. Ooooops!

Ha! Ha! Thanks for reminding me Alex. I almost forgot about my Honda dirt bike. Amen.

But of course that excludes the 4 wheeled Hondas you have to drive instead of ride. Yes, yes I know an Acura is just a glorified Honda.

Often people expect kind comments about their babies. To me, generally, babies all just look like...well...babies. Occassionally there is one that stands out as exceptional, but, for the most part, they are just babies. But good grief...THAT is one freakin' ugly baby!

WHAT!? This whole time I thought you were a well educated white person. You lied to me! LIED!!!!!

Anyway, you know what gets me? How people want to ban words because they're "bad" to use. They're just words.

Take for example nigger. What is the meaning of it? A stupid person or low class. It was used so much for blacks that now when we say nigger we think slang for black people.

Now, what would happen if the term "idiot" was used against blacks instead of nigger? Today would there be PFBIW groups? People For the Banning of the I Word?

Child 1: You're stupid!
Child 2: You're a nigger!
Child 1: Oh yeah you're an idiot!
Child 2: MMMMMM THAT'S RACIST!

The same could be said about what was discussed in this thread about apes or monkeys. Soon will the definition change to where we can't use those words, not even at Zoos? If Mr. Jackson has his way, yes.

So am I a racist? No, I hate all races equally (maybe New Zealand a little more).

I thought you knew that. All these years we have been going at it at this forum. I guess I am an enigma but obviously I am a conservative and vote Republican.

Sad to say it but we are probably all racists to some extent. The minorities are tougher on each other.

Did you hear about the latest on New Zealand? The liberal government is out or in the minority now and the government has gone centrist/conservative. However, they have their own unique racial issues with the Maoris and other immigrants.

Re: Isn't racism becoming passe'

Does anyone know what Christopher Columbus said when he saw the first black person in America?

Go down for the answer

"Bless my heart, rock my soul, it's a walkin', talkin' tootsie roll!"

I heard that over 30 years years ago when I was a kid.

Obama gives Holder a hand slap. Whoop de doo!

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says he would not have used the same language that Eric Holder did last month when the attorney general declared that the United States is a nation of cowards on matters of race.

WASHINGTON — President Obama has chided his attorney general, Eric H. Holder Jr., for describing America as a “nation of cowards” when discussing race, wading into a tumult that flared over Mr. Holder’s indictment of the way this country talks about ethnicity.

No question the word nigger was a very degrading and derogatory word from long ago and not so long ago. I think anybody with any decency gets that. That's fine; no problem. However, blacks keep slinging that word all over hell and back, saturating their culture and entertainment with it, but still cry hurt when somebody outside their group uses it.

I call BS. If it's that bad a word that it sets their shorts on fire and makes them want to burn whole cities down, then maybe they ought to stop using it as well.

Just a thought.

As for Obama: I think he's just trying to keep a game face and not tip his hand. I don't think he really gives a rip about any of this, as long as his agenda succeeds. He probably does wish some of his admin people would keep a lower profile on the hot button issues, though. Everybody's paying attention to everything they do.

Re: Isn't racism becoming passe'

My point in all of this is that we now have a black president. They can no longer whine that the white man keepin' dem down. That's all. Crimony....how can it be said anymore?

Re: Isn't racism becoming passe'

As long as people like Holden and Sharpton are willing to take up their side and yell racism, some black people will continue to use "oppression" as an excuse to feel sorry for themselves.
