Thats kinda funny. I'm sure most will know before their 10. I bet they just kept backing up in ages until they came across the age that most kids cant find anything on a map.

Shall we start a stupid a things that americans do thread?

Or just blame exessive amounts of American TV for our kids lack of geographic knowledge, and then wonder how Americans kids cope being exposed to about 10 times more American TV than Kiwi kids are?

You have American TV playing in your geography and social studies classes?

dude, I'm just playing around. I in no way consider Americans above anyone else. I actually consider us below just about everyone. Our education systems suck compared to evertwhere else. If we get a bi-lingual person here, we are amazed. Where as everywhere else in the world, people know multiple languages. I've been in an 8th grade class, where the teacher assigned a report on any state in the USA, and there was a kid who wanted to do a report on Mexico, just because it happened to be on the same map as the US. And if you want to make jokes at americans, go right ahead. If you want, I'll even go and start a stupid things that americans do thread. The reason that no one likes us is because we think that people can take jokes, not because we think we're above anyone. We actually respect people from different countries. At least I do... Go ahead and make fun of me if it makes you feel better. I honestly don't care. An if you want to get mad at me and ban me for speaking my mind, knock yourself out. Once again, I honestly don't care.

Someone should probably close this thread too, before it gets ugly, which I could see happening.
