Bluebird

We've had lots of Bluebirds including the USDM Altima, a very square looking predecessor from Japan and we've now just got the euro-inspired Primera...

You mean the Tsuru? The B13 Sentra (like mine) is still sold new in Mexico as the Nissan Tsuru...it has new complex reflector headlights and a new grill, as well as new taillights. I'm still not sure I like the new grill, but I love the headlights. I would get the headlights for my car if you didn't have to get the new grill as well in order for them to fit. I do however, want to get my hands on a set of the new taillights that have the orange part cleared out.

This is the new Tsuru front...

Nice Rich, looks really clean and in good shape. Just get it as a more fuel economical daily driver, and keeping the Caprice for cruisin? You need to get a pic of the Caprice sometime too, I don't think we've ever seen it

Thats exactly why I got it. Just bought it to take me to College and work. Im almost finished my stereo install, so it sounds pretty good, and driving standard is a fun change too. As you know, gas is pretty expensive here in Ontario, and with the 350 in the Caprice and a few other mods, my gas milage is down to around ~10mpg. (Mostly due to the fact that I drive it hard, but thats the whole point )

Your wish is my command I took this a few weeks ago and scanned it in tonight. Its not a full pic of the car, as I am currently doing some work on the exhaust and installing a bigger oil pan for more oil capacity to go with the new oil pump I installed a while back. I will get a better pic when I am finished with the oil pan and exhaust work.

showing my ignorance here... the Caprice is a big RWD(?) car sometimes used as a Police Car as is the Ford Crown Victoria...

Incidentally, the Ford Fairmont Auto (Australian) that the family had got about 16mpg and it had a 302 made at Windsor (which I seem to recall is in your province... I think). It eventually got sold after 5 years and 30,000 km or so of driving (ie a very miniscule 12,000 miles or about 200 miles a month) to some very lucky person and I finally convinced Dad to replace it with something smaller and more economical, I got him to buy a BMW 328iSE with a 5 speed auto.

Lol...if you left the camera exactly where it is and parked the Sentra there it'd probly be a full car shot

Nice Caprice, I bet she sounds some good. I always pictured it with Impala SS wheels though, dunno why, since you told me you didn't have any custom wheels on it...

Hummer Man: are you sure your sentra is a 92???because its a B12 chassis, which I believe were done away with in 90 at least in the states. the B13(Mark's Sentra) began in 91.

but then canada is a odd strange place

Heep: I have a few buddies with the Mex front ends on their B13s. its just enought of a change to set them apart from every other econobox on the road, and looks slightly more agressive, and the tails look nice with the lack of amber.

(and here I am trying to get JDM full amber corners for my B14! which look better than clears IMO, but then again, JDM is the only way to travel )

Thanks for the kind words. As you can see right behind the back wheel there is a little bit of rust brewing. I will be taking care of that ASAP before the cancer spreads. (They use alot of salt on the roads here in the winter)

As far as the plain wheels and the lack of SS badging its because AFAIK there was no such thing as a Caprice SS in 91, (I thought about getting a set of SS rims, but I want my car to stand out from the SS) infact mine is just badged as a "Caprice Classic". And when I bought it it had a very unhealthy 305ci engine in it, no posi, etc... It is almost 100% stock on the outside, but I will try to get an underhood pic soon. It wont look like much, but the 350 i dropped in with a few mods helps it to get going much better (the auburn posi was a nice touch as well ) Also helps me when towing my boat to my camp, the 170hp 305 was quite weak. I had the 350 dyno'd a in the spring shortly after I put it in and before some of my more recent mods and I had 284.7 at the rear wheels.

I am 99.9% sure it is a 92. The title says its a 92, as well as the sticker on the inside of the door that says 02/92. It actually has confused the hell out of me a few times, for example I went to get an air filter and when I looked in the book for fram filters, it shows the 92 as having a panel-type filter, while mine uses the rounder kind. Went to the Nissan dealer and told him what I wanted. I didnt like the price he quoted me ($28.50 CAD for a lousy air filter ) , so I went back to walmart and bought the fram filter for a 90 Sentra and it fit fine. (Saved me a bundle too)

It is indeed a 1992...Nissan Canada has a tendency to slowly fade out Sentra models. The B13 came out in 1991, but the B12 was still being offered a year or two after as the Sentra Classic. Also, the B14 came out in 1995 (I think), but the B13 was offered in 1995 and 1996 as the Sentra something...I dunno if it was Classic or what.
