B16 in a 91 Hatch...How Much?
I've been on Nippon Motors that u can get the motor a cable transmission and ecu for about 1,250 dollers. i dont know how much shipping would cost, does anyone know. and as far as the engine being put it dont calculate that i'll do it myself.

i've seen people who got the motors for about 1100-1200 for the 1st gen b16.

To be fair and honest its rare to find a B16 from a retailer out there that cheap after you include shipping and all that other garbage!
I remember when these engines were a dime a dozen, but now even on ebay they go for about $1300 to $1500. As the scene get more and more popular the prices go up! Also remember that there are more parts to this swap like Motor Mounts, Shift Linkage and so on to add to the overall price. Do your homework and ask alot of ???'s www.velocitytrends.com can try to assist you in any way possible! Check them out!

I think www.hondamotorsonline.com has the complete swap for 1150.00
plus mounts are like 350.00 shift linkage is like 75.00 and your set. i paid 150 for shipping. |
