Question How much for your B16?

I was looking into a DOHC ZC swap and realized how much I'd rather have a B16. I know it's going to cost more but I will be kicking myself later if I swap a ZC when I could have went B16. So, how much did you guys pay total for your B16's, includnig parts and labor? Thanks.

I know it's a long post, so thanks in advance for your time.

-Derek.

Well, $2000 is what I should have payed, but due to a certain shop *cough*TC Motorsports should rot in hell*cough* being a dick I ended up paying $4000. Would have cost even more, but I had my buddy do the swap instead due to my new found hatred toward the shop *cough*I hope TC Motorsports burns to the ground*cough*. So I'd say I have the most expensive B16 swap in here, or the country for that matter. Expect to pay around $2000-$3000 at most. If they want $3000, I suggest trying to look elsewhere first.

What do you think it would cost to get a shop to swap it? Me and my brother could handle the mechanic half, it's the wiring that scares me.

if the wiring scares you, call up either place racing or hasport to have them make you a harness for like 250, then just plug it all in and u'll be fine.

Hopefully I will have my B16 in before summer is over. But anyway, how do you guys like your B16’s? Is it a worthy investment? Thanks.

I love my B16A, I'm sure most B16 owners can attest..
I love the speed, the tranny, 8000rpm, and the fact that the motor just takes a shit kickin' day in and day out. I totally think it was worth the money, otherwise I wouldn't have done it.

I payed just under 2Gs Canadian funds for everything you'd need to do the swap youself, but prices are a lot higher where you guys live than here in Ontario.
