venom 400's are a waste to begin with and using one with a supercharger is only gonna be worse. the thing works by increasing signals to show a higher load then is actually there. using it wit a jrsc will only make things much worse.

as for cams, i suggest you do some reading on them first. cams for a naturally aspirated motor will bleed off boost from increased overlap, not something you want.

You might be right on the interest part, but my 99 EX SOHC is pushing around 200HP at the wheels and it's VERY nice. I'm running 9psi with the Greddy 15G kit and a Greddy intercooler. I'm very happy with the performance and haven't had one reliability problem yet. I've had the kit on almost a year now.

Actually, Alamo Autosports in Arlington, TX got 300HP out of a SOHC with the Greddy 15G, inline fuel pump, adjustable fuel press. reg., bigger injectors, and a Haltech MU. Imagine that on stock internals! I spent just over $3000.00 for everything I have.

Hey Chris, just thought I would let you know about my experience with a SOHC and JRSC. My buddy works at a performance/audio shop and I was talking to him about doing the same thing as you. He told me that they actually did it for a guy, and it didn't add a ton of power. I don't know if he had the normal I/H/E upgrades and such, but the dyno'd his car and it was only pushing 139 hp at the wheels. That is roughly what the b16a2 puts out at the wheels, so I would assume he was making about 160-165 at the crank. For $3K , I would just buy the b16a2 or b18c1 first, and then got turbo or SC.

What??? That's IT?? Dude, a 97-00 EX puts out roughly 127HP at the crank stock. That install is messed up for real. I ran it with a Celica off the line that had a JRSC and I got smoked. Something isn't right with that guys install. Hate to hear stuff like that....
