90 Buick Regal
I've got the book on my car, and I'm still having problems trying to figure out how to change my spark plugs, I've seen it done on other cars, but not quite sure how to do it on this one. Do u have to rotate the engine forward FIRST or after u do the front spark plugs?
And must u take the engine cover off? |

Re: 90 Buick Regal
Welcome to AF.
I have moved your post from Tips & Maintenance to the Regal forum. Also, it would help to post your engine size.

Re: 90 Buick Regal
Yes, remove that plastic engine cover. If it is a 3.8 or 3800 the plugs and plug wires seem to be fairly easy and simple. Just follow each wire to the plug and remove and replace one at a time so that you don't get the wires crossed.
Make sure and check the plug gap and reset them if needed. ![]() |
